The Battery er en vakker bygning som er bygget i 1874. Den ligger ved kysten i Seasalter, en landsby som ligger langs kysten mellom Faversham og Whitstable nord i Kent.

The Battery is home to Marilyn Phipps, an artist; the whole place is an inspiration for art, craft and just living. walking through the various rooms, Marilyn has displayed her collections, her finds and her work to create a magical space. situated on the beach at seasalter, about a 20 min walk from whitstable, it is not only in a perfect situation, but close enough to pop back into town when you want. Marilyn hosts crafts weekends at her home in the summer. you can also buy some of her work from Frank, the lovely arts and crafts shop in whitstable. to find out more information about the crafts weekends, which are usually held from May to September, and the family room that she has available to rent for weekends, you can contact her at: Marilyn@thebattery1.plus.com .
