I have to bump my bathroom reveal off the blog today because I just got an email that has made my day, week, year. So excited I had to share it immediately!

Here's the most important bit of the press release.......

SYDNEY, NSW – (August 22, 2012)—Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM), the North America- based retailer that specialises in high-quality products for the home, today announced that it has signed a lease for 2,040 square metres of retail space to house four of its iconic brands, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and West Elm at the newly constructed Exchange Building in Sydney, Australia, at Bondi Junction. The four stores, currently slated to open in early fiscal 2013, are the first retail locations outside of North America to be owned and operated by the retailer as part of its overall global expansion strategy.

The Exchange Building is located at 466-472 Oxford Street Mall, Bondi Junction, just six kilometers east of the central business district at the eastern end of the mall, opposite Westfield Bondi Junction and adjacent to Bondi Junction Rail/Bus Interchange. Coombes Property Group is the developer, owner and manager of the Exchange development.

OMG - Williams-Sonoma are opening a store in Sydney early next year. How did I not know this? Who did? World's best kept secret.

So now girls, we don't have to pine for all those wonderful reasonably priced American homewares and can now at least get access to some of them ! My only hope is that the prices will continue to be reasonable, despite the cost of freight to Australia. We all know about stores, not mentioning anyone by name Ikea, who put up their prices when they reach our shores, despite maintaining their prices elsewhere in the world.

Can't wait! Yippeeeee!!

By the way, does anybody know about this new Exchange Building in Bondi Junction?
