Firstly a massive THANK YOU, from Georgia and myself, to you all, for the fabulous comments, they really did give her a great confidence boost.
Georgia's musical journey has only just begun and she is enjoying every single minute of it. She sang like an angel on Saturday. The judges found her voice unique and every one of them said they loved to hear her sing and even looked forward to hearing her. Her style is unique because she takes classics and and adapts them to give something of herself to them.
Gladly she was the only one who wasn't told she should join a girl band. I was one proud grandmother. Being only 15 she was the youngest there but being told by people in the industry that you have a big future gave her tremendous confidence and makes her even more determined to go down that road to fame. Not many 15 year olds get this sort of opportunity to perform and winning is not the main aim, it is to gain more and more experience which she is doing in bundles.
As her grandmother I find these competitions painful but when I asked her how she felt on that big stage with all those people watching her she said "I love every minute of it".
