Paper + Glitter + Glue

You know I mentioned 

my love for glittery Putz

mica houses. 

Well, last year, my home was

featured on a local charity

holiday house walk.

In trying to think of interesting

things to decorate with, I decided

to make a little Putz-style 
version of the house.

Here is how it turned out.
It is not exact, a more simplified
symmetrical version of the house,
but still recognizable ..... maybe?

I used heavy duty watercolor paper, an Exacto knife,

Elmer's glue and various types of mica and glitter
that I bought on Etsy.

New bottle brush trees, wreaths, and hedges from 

the dollhouse collections at craft stores were used
for the landscaping.
(Had to cut down and reconfigure
them a bit so they were the right scale.)

The houses are sharing the shelves in a kitchen hutch with brown transferware and ironstone pieces.
