Winter Whites!
January is a hard month for me...and I've been hearing it from a lot of other people as well!!!
The winter blues start hitting and the weather hasn't been all that great around here!
But today...today is beautiful outside!!
This past week I began organizing a bit...doing some things to my own house to make it feel better, and in reality...to make ME feel better!
I started by grouping things together that I loved!
And one thing led to another...
I even raided my dad's antler collections as well as my son's to spruce up my collections of transferware and ironstone...There are so many things you can do with the collections and groupings you love!
Take a look at all of these wonderful ideas and see if it begins to inspire you! We even have a lot of these items in the shop right now if you need to add to any of your own collections!!
I love the dark color behind all of this ironstone! It really makes it POP!!
I've always loved grouping of prints!!
When I saw this grouping of butterfly prints in this beautiful bathroom I fell in love with them!
Milk glass has been around for ages but it seems to be making a comeback and I'm glad!
Your groupings don't have to hang....they can just be on shelves...like this collection of pitchers and serving pieces!
However you want to display your groupings and collections is up to you!
This might just be my favorite! Just look at how pretty and soothing this room feels!
When the winter blues set in...I've decided to look at Winter White!! It makes me happy!!
And right now, I think I'm going to get all of my white ironstone platters off of the top of my cabinets and hang them on the wall!!! I just love this!!
I'm even liking this grouping of silver platters mixed with trays!
The possibilities are endless!! Have fun with it!
Make them accessible if you plan to use them in everyday life!
Start a collection of vintage bottles!
Raid your grandmother's attic or pantry if your eye is suddenly drawn to milk glass!
You never know what you might find there!
Get someone to help when you are grouping your prints! I always trust my husband to this because he is so patient!
I have a tendency to just start hammering away and then have a lot of nail holes to repair later!

On my next buying trip I plan on stocking back up! I can't wait...it's just around the corner!
My goal is to look for these beautiful botanicals that we used to have in the shop!
And my next goal to is to make my den look like this!
Whatever your goal is...if it's getting rid of the winter blues or just loving your collections...
