Grasscloth Walls

Our entrance hall is in need of a lift. I had originally painted it Dulux Whisper White, which I love as a neutral almost-white, but it's a bit too stark for the foyer which I feel is in desperate need of some warmth and personality and I just love colour too much to stick with white. I am still on the hunt for a beautiful rug as a jumping off point as the cowhide just doesn't work there and proves annoyingly easy to trip over.  We are now going to deconstruct the furniture/artwork arrangement we did some months ago, as below,  as we just don't feel it works in the space.

The fish painting will move into the living area and will help me settle on a colour scheme for there. It will be replaced by a mirror. The legs of the Ikea cabinet will be cut down as it's too high and dominating (perhaps even painted white) and what's on top will be rethought. I have since added a pair of pineapple lamps as it was in need of some soft lighting, and I can never have too many lamps, plus I ordered two bamboo chairs, but it's all too much and just doesn't feel cosy or welcoming enough. So back to the drawing board!

I was going to do a pretty Benjamin Moore inspired beigey/stone wall colour, but I just can't go past grasscloth as a way to inject some colour, texture, personality and style into this space. Plus I'm completely obsessed by it. Sadly it's fiendishly expensive, so I won't be able to do the area I would like to (ie the whole house!), but if I only do the dominant walls in the foyer, and perhaps even instal some wainscoting or a chair rail I will hopefully only need a few rolls. 

This is the Kravet grasscloth I'm considering. It does come in a lovely soft aqua but I think I need to add some colours other than the various shades of blue that dominate the house.
